Surtitles
For international guests, Schauspiel Leipzig offers performances with English surtitles at regular intervals. Furthermore, English-language introductions will give you interesting background information about the plays and their productions.
Surtitles will be offered on selected dates for the following productions:
- Arsen und Spitzenhäubchen (Arsenic and Old Lace)
- Der Besuch der alten Dame (The Visit)
- Der zerbrochne Krug (The Broken Jug)
- Richard III
- Romeo und Julia (Romeo and Juliet)
- Was ihr wollt ( A Tortured Lover's Version)
- Woyzeck
Note: The surtitles are best visible in the stalls (Parkett), starting from row 10. Surtitles are only partially legible in the tier (Rang). Please bear this in mind when purchasing tickets.
