Magda Lena Schlott was born in 1985 and grew up on the coast of the Baltic Sea. She studied puppetry at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst Busch” in Berlin. During her time as a student, she presented her and her fellow student’s pre-diploma piece “Rasant” at various European festivals. From 2009 to 2011, she was a company member of Puppentheater Halle. Following this, Magda Lena Schott worked freelance as a performer and a puppet and mask builder, as a guest at Luzerner Theater, Komische Oper Berlin and others. In 2013, she created “Die vegane Puppenkochshow – Die erste Kochshow von Tieren für Tiere” with Tobias Schülke and Mathias Mühlschlegel. From the 2013/14 season, she was a member of the company at Schauspiel Köln. Here she worked with Moritz Sostmann, Pınar Karabulut, Jens Albinus, Matthias Köhler and others. Since the beginning of the 2018/19 season, she has been a guest performer at theatres including Schauspiel Köln and Schauspiel Leipzig.
