Karl-Sebastian Liebich

Karl-Sebastian Liebich was born in Dresden in 1980. He trained as an actor at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst Busch” in Berlin. In 2005, he worked with Martin Engler on a production of “Unterbrechen Sie mich nicht, ich schweige!” by Vladimir Kazakov. His first engagement as an actor took him to Theater Chemnitz in 2006; his roles there included Ruprecht in Kleist’s “Der zerbrochne Krug”, Hofmarschall von Kalb in “Kabale und Liebe” (directed by Katja Paryla) and the Doctor in Enrico Lübbe’s production of “Woyzeck”. He also appeared in “Fracht – Nautisches Denken I-IV” (directed by Dieter Boyer) and in “Das Prinzip Meese” and “Die Gespenstersonate“, both directed by Eva Lange.

Karl-Sebastian Liebich has been a guest at Schauspiel Leipzig since the 2013/14 season.
