Anita Vulesica

Anita Vulesica was born in Munich in 1974 and grew up in Zadar (Croatia) and Berlin. She studied acting at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst Busch” in Berlin. Her theatre career began at Theaterhaus Jena. In 2004, Anita Vulesica left the permanent company and began to work freelance at theatres including Nationaltheater Weimar, Sophiensӕle Berlin, Schaubühne Berlin, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Neues Theater Halle. She joined the company of Schauspiel Leipzig from 2008 to 2010, where she received the Leipzig Theatre Award in 2009. She has acted in numerous film and television productions and works as both a voice actor and, increasingly, as a director – most recently with students of the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Salzburg Mozarteum in Marianna Salzmann’s “Weltrettungsauftrag”.
