Ruins + Hope Hunt & The Ascension into Lazarus

RUINS opens a dialogue surrounding the myth of masculinity as it is felt within the Pan-African diaspora. FUBUNATION are deconstructing the power struggle within themselves and finding the balance between conflict, vulnerability, and co-dependency. By doing so, they own and repair their deeper anxieties that they have learned so well to mask.

HOPE HUNT & THE ASCENSION INTO LAZARUS Oona Doherty was awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Dance Biennale just this year in July. At euro-scene Leipzig, the young artist from Ireland will present her masterpiece HOPE HUNT, an extremely energetic choreography about the lower social classes in her native city Belfast.
