New Year's Eve 2018 at the Schauspielhaus
After five years, it has become somewhat of a tradition in the city – the grand New Year’s Eve party at the Schauspielhaus.
And so the motto for New Year’s Eve 2018 is: Same procedure as for the last five years! The entire Schauspielhaus will become one grand ballroom and we will see out the final hours of the ending year with another highlight of the theatre year: a New Year’s Eve opening night on the Main Stage. One of Shakespeare’s classic plays, “Der Widerspenstigen Zähmung (The Taming of the Shrew)”, directed by Moritz Sostmann who will once again develop his trademark interaction of puppetry and action. An extraordinary theatre experience to look forward to!

At midnight, we will welcome the year 2019 together – and dance the night away to music by a live band and a DJ.
