KATAPULT 2027
Performance Plattform Leipzig
“KATAPULT – Performance Platform Leipzig” is entering its fourth year. Following three successful editions, the collaboration between LOFFT – DAS THEATER, Residenz Schauspiel Leipzig, and Schaubühne Lindenfels is back, offering Leipzig’s performance scene a platform that is open to a wide variety of formats within the field of performance.
KATAPULT enables the local scene to explore diverse approaches to contemporary performance, strengthen networks, investigate socially relevant topics, and experiment with formats and working methods. The focus is on production, framed by a final presentation that welcomes a wide variety of performance formats.
To facilitate their realisation, the projects are supported with a budget, a working residency of several weeks at one of the three venues, dramaturgical guidance or mentoring, and organisational and technical support. The final presentations will take place in June 2027.
