KATAPULT

KATAPULT – Performance Plattform Leipzig is a joint venture created by Schaubühne Lindenfels, Residenz Schauspiel Leipzig and LOFFT – DAS THEATER to promote the performance scene in Leipzig. Together, these institutions picked six new performance projects from an open call, offered them artistic residencies at one of the three venues and provided equal co-financing. The artistic strategies used in the projects draw from experimental theater, choreographic practices, and media art. This impressively varied program also pushes thematic boundaries – between nature and man, past and future, private and political.
