Relaxed Performance

This new format is open to everyone. However, it is specifically tailored to an audience who benefit from a more relaxed event atmosphere. With relaxed performance, we feature one production from our repertoire in an adapted environment. For instance, we will sell fewer tickets for these shows in order to provide greater distances between seats. Early admission into the foyer and the auditorium reduces tension and allows for time to get acclimated. Leaving the ongoing performance and returning into the auditorium is possible and will be supported by our front-of-house staff. There will be no harsh lighting or sound changes, strobe lighting or similar effects. Additional devices like noise cancelling headphones are expressly welcome. Please feel free to bring them!

With Thirza Bruncken’s adaptation of “Auszeichnungen aus einem weißen Zimmer”, Schauspiel Leipzig offers a production in the additional format of a relaxed performance for the first time.
