fünf minuten stille
Three people speak up for us to simply listen to the silence and the wind in the cornfield for five minutes. They agree that this would help us, right here, in this location. It’s just as well that nobody drives faster than 120km/h here and that we’re all in the same boat. And yet: Just switching off the constant ambient noise of opinions and attitudes even for five minutes seems to be more complicated than initially expected. And it’s the people outside who are to blame. Because, as we know, hell is the others.
The production “fünf minuten stille” was created by members of the acting company and the artistic and technical departments as a project for Foyer 1. The director is Markus Lerch, who has been an actor at Schauspiel Leipzig since 2013. Head stage technician Patrick Ernst designed the set, the costumes are by dresser Almuth Mikutta and assistant director Lina Wegner created the videos.
