Andreas Keller

Andreas Keller was born in Leipzig in 1958. He studied acting at Theaterhochschule “Hans Otto” in Leipzig from 1979 to 1983. This was followed by work at the Studio Karl-Marx-Stadt, Landestheater Altenburg, Bühnen der Stadt Magdeburg, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Grillo-Theater Essen, Bremer Theater, Staatstheater Schwerin and Schauspiel Leipzig. He also worked at Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Carrousel-Theater/Theater an der Parkaue Berlin and Renaissance-Theater Berlin. He has been a member of the acting company at Schauspiel Leipzig since 2002. In recent years, he has worked with directors Sascha Hawemann, Clemens Meyer, Sebastian Hartmann, Martin Laberenz, Rainald Grebe, Albrecht Hirche, Clemens Schönborn and Robert Borgmann. Furthermore, Andreas Keller featured in numerous film and television productions. He teaches acting at Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig.
