Thomas Köck

Thomas Köck was born in Steyr, Upper Austria, in 1986. He was socialised by music and studied Philosophy in Vienna and Creative Writing for the Stage as well as Film at the Berlin University of the Arts. He worked with theatercombinat wien, was invited to Berlinale Talents with a documentary film on Beirut and was author-in-residence at Nationaltheater Mannheim. He blogs against the right with his colleagues on nazisundgoldmund.net and develops concert readymades under the label ghostdance. He has received several awards for his theatre texts and won the Mülheim Dramatists’ Award in 2018.
