Mathis Reinhardt

Mathis Reinhardt was born in Filderstadt in 1978. He studied acting at the Salzburg Mozarteum from 2003 to 2007. During this time, he already worked at Landestheater Salzburg and Salzburger Festspiele. His first job as a member of an acting company took him to Deutsches Theater Berlin, where he acted in productions including Michael Thalheimer’s staging of “Die Ratten” by Gerhart Hauptmann (presented at the 2008 Berliner Theatertreffen). In 2009, he left Berlin to join Schauspiel Frankfurt. There, he played roles like Shakespeare’s Romeo, Kostya in “The Seagull”, Truffaldino in Goldoni’s “Der Diener zweier Herren” and the solo “NippleJesus”, based on a text by Nick Hornby. He worked with directors Andreas Kriegenburg, Stefan Pucher, Günter Krämer, Christoph Mehler and Jorinde Dröse. Furthermore, Mathis Reinhardt acted in numerous film and television productions.
From 2013 to 2015, Mathis Reinhardt was a member of Schauspiel Leipzig’s acting company. He will continue to appear in Nick Hornby’s solo performance “NippleJesus” at Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig.
