Brian Völkner
Brian Völkner was born in Freiberg in Saxony. After graduating from school, he initially studied horticultural sciences in Dresden. In 2012, he began his acting training at Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig. He gained his first experience as an actor while still at school, at theatres like Mittelsächsisches Theater Freiberg/Döbeln, and has been involved in various film and theatre productions.
From 2014 to 2016 he was a member of Schauspiel Leipzig’s Schauspielstudio (Acting Studio) and subsequently a permanent member of the ensemble until the 2019/20 season. Brian Völkner continues to guest at Schauspiel Leipzig. He creates and presents the semi-annual musical evening “Kitsch und Krempel” and has been heading the “Club ü31, ein Spielclub für Erwachsene” since 2018/19.
