Showtime (ein enttäuschender Abend)
Lead actress run ill? Choir on strike? Orchestra stuck in traffic? When all else fails, his phone rings. Before the performance has to be cancelled, he saves the evening for the audience – and the theatre: the universal actor! Within five minutes, he’s in a taxi, heading to take to the stage that evening as a stand-in for a colleague who’s dropped out. Every evening he performs as if his life depended on it, yet remains invisible.
Felix Krakau’s hilariously funny and profoundly sad monologue on the fragility of existence serves as the starting point for Tilo Krügel and Denis Petković to reflect on theatre, life, and everything else.
