Annett Sawallisch
Annett Sawallisch was born in Berlin in 1978 and studied at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock from 1997 to 2001. During her training, she already had the opportunity to perform at Rostock’s Volkstheater. In 2001, she joined Freie Kammerspiele Magdeburg and in 2007, she became a company member at Theater Chemnitz. Beside various guest engagements at Theater Chur and Neues Theater Halle, among others, she was also involved in Markus Dietz’ international project “das treffen – the other side” in cooperation with the Tennessee Repertory Theatre in Nashville. She acted in productions by directors including Enrico Lübbe, Dieter Boyer, Tobias Wellemeyer, Lukas Langhoff, Johanna Schall, Matthias Brenner, Sascha Hawemann, Mateja Koležnik, Martin Nimz and Christian Brey.
Annett Sawallisch has been a company member of Schauspiel Leipzig since August 2013.
