Schauspiel Leipzig‘s youngest and most versatile venue can be found in the cloakroom foyer (Garderobenfoyer): Sometimes it is an intimate stage for readings, at others it becomes an open space for parties and concerts, a wood-panelled salon or a space for expert talks and social debate – this is Foyer 1.
This is a space for the ensemble of Schauspiel Leipzig to have their say. Individual or series of readings complement the programme. Our theatre’s young artists in particular – assistants and the students of Schauspielstudio – can realise scenic projects and studio shows.
